Addressing recent issues with the website and API
re: Expiring titles... examples or it didn't happen
Strange - expiring seemed to be updated for the countries with earlier problems but now Canada, Mexico, US and UK are all back to zero titles.
I really wish Netflix would choose a lane regarding expiring formats :(, hopefully. this will be fixed in the next pull
Thanks for including Mexico again
Can I just ask that next time there are problems like these (and there have been a couple of instances over the years), not to have 0 data coming in but to keep stale data. For example, it would have been inconsequential to keep Netflix Mexico data for a few days, albeit a little stale, rather than have nothing.
We did keep stuff up for quite a while before folks started complaining about data being incorrect, the only reason we pulled those countries when we did was because we honestly thought they weren't coming back for a while. To be honest we came pretty close to just shutting the whole operation down...
oh, and MX is back... we are back up to 27 countries
In Country Detail, if there are more than 100 titles added (e.g. 120), the maximum value is 100 and will not show the rest of the titles.
correct, please use Advanced Search if you want a full list..
You can specify days back in the search query using the format
new last x ywhere x is a number y is a time period.
select a country
and search for
new last 5 days
All of these titles added within the past 48 hours are missing from your US listings:
These were added to Netflix in Sweden, but not to uNoGS's Swedish section, within the past 5 days or so:
These and probably many more are missing from your listings for France. I had a list of around 50 titles added since May 15th but got tired of checking them all:
This same issue unfortunately applies to your listings for Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain... And those are just some random countries that I checked. It seems that the great majority of what's been added lately is missing.
you can paste these list directly in the website and they will automatically get added
All these have now been added and will get picked up on the next cycle
@admin for greece search stuff - ya really weird. i think that's the start of hiding most unique content away. But I finding that even directly accessing stuff trips the proxy error these days - especially in CH/Switzerland. The issue I have run into is that I was just using the UI via Selenium to do some matching up of my library to possible higher resolution options. but that doesn't work if 'searcing hides stuff' oh well. It was a good exercise in refreshing my scraping knowledge.
Thank u for bring back Mexico to the list
Oh Belgium, dear mother why are you not back ?
